Charmayne James and Scamper
Charmayne James and Scamper are quite a team. They are 11 time World Champions!! Scamper has had amazing wins! He is so great that Charmayne has even CLONED him!! “Scamper was one of the greatest horses ever, and I know that now more than ever,” James said. “I wanted to get in and save his genetics, because if they were ever able to clone a horse, Scamper would be the horse to clone.”
Cholla: The Painting Horse
Cholla (pronounced "choy-a") is a Mustang/ Quarterhorse mix that uses a paint brush to create works of art. He is rated fourth in Top-Selling Animal Artists. Renee noticed he liked holding things in his mouth. She was out painting the fence and Cholla followered her around. Her husband called out, "Why don't you get the horse to paint the fence?"... and Renee started providing Cholla with painting materials. According to Renee, he loves it! Whenever he sees her bringing him the materials, he comes right over and gets ready to paint!
Thumbelina: The World's Smallest Horse
Thumbelina is one tiny horse. She is considered a "Dwarf Horse" which is actually a miniature of a Miniature horse (no pun intended). She stands just 17 1/2 inches tall and weighs 57 pounds! She was born on May 1, 2001. She loves spending time with children and her owners set up the Thumbelina Charitable Foundation to help children's charities. She's already travelled over 27,000 miles to visit children in hospitals, riding centers, schools, group homes, shelters, and camps! She has her own tour trailer-- the ThumbyMobile. It's a 30-ft RV that was converted into a stable on wheels! The back area is Thumberlina's stall with a door, air conditioner, and loading ramp. This is ONE LUCKY HORSE....or should I say Dwarf?!?
Radar: The World's Tallest Horse
Radar is the tallest living horse in the WORLD!!! He measures in at 19 hands, 3 1/2 inches tall,which is about 6' 7 1/2 feet!!! It appeared the hoof on this guy is the size of all four combined on a standard sized horse. That is HUGE!!! He's what you would call a "Gentle Giant" though. He is in the Guiness World Record for the Tallest Living Horse. He weighs over 2,400 pounds!! His breed is Belgian Draft horse gelding. He eats ALOT!!! He eats 18 lbs. of grain, 40 lbs. of hay each day, and drinks 20 gallons of water each day. He was born in 1998 in Iowa, USA to very lucky owners.
Huaso: An AMAZING Jumper!
How high is the highest a horse can jump? Huaso answered that question by setting a world record on Feb 5, 1949 by jumping 8 feet, 1 3/4 inches!
This Thoroughbred stallion's color was chestnut, he had a star on his forehead, and he was 16.1 hands high. He was bred by Henry Lee, out of Trémula. His riders were Gaspar Lueje and Alberto Larraguibel.
